Rural areas of the United States have historically gone unserved or underserved in terms of healthcare. School based telehealth care is a relatively new modality for delivering care to the most vulnerable members of our communities: children. Rural areas have many barriers to overcome in terms of healthcare, with one of the barriers being lack of primary care providers and specialty care providers. In Georgia, over the past 15 year, initializing school based health centers has been difficult.
