This represents a new best-of-breed approach for both back-office and front-office applications, enabled by SaaS and knitted together with new middleware and interoperability tools. This presentation will provide a concrete example of a product, Dell Boomi, enabling the trend, and demonstrate with a proof of concept from pharmaceutical giant Novartis how the ideas have become real. Unfettered adoption of the cloud model and realization of cloud benefits means addressing application and data integration, and today’s integration tools must evolve and deploy at the speed of cloud, even while meeting fundamental security and compliance requirements – just like all of the application landscape today.</p> </div></div></div><div class="field field-name-field-keywords field-type-taxonomy-term-reference field-label-above"><div class="field-label">Keywords:&nbsp;</div><div class="field-items"><div class="field-item even"><a href="/taxonomy/term/4" typeof="skos:Concept" property="rdfs:label skos:prefLabel">cloud</a></div><div class="field-item odd"><a href="/taxonomy/term/13" typeof="skos:Concept" property="rdfs:label skos:prefLabel">paas</a></div><div class="field-item even"><a href="/tags/pharmaceuticals" typeof="skos:Concept" property="rdfs:label skos:prefLabel">pharmaceuticals</a></div><div class="field-item odd"><a href="/taxonomy/term/131" typeof="skos:Concept" property="rdfs:label skos:prefLabel">integration</a></div><div class="field-item even"><a href="/tags/enterprise-infrastructure" typeof="skos:Concept" property="rdfs:label skos:prefLabel">enterprise infrastructure</a></div></div></div><div class="field field-name-field-spfname field-type-text field-label-above"><div class="field-label">Speaker First Name:&nbsp;</div><div class="field-items"><div class="field-item even">Chris</div></div></div><div class="field field-name-field-splname field-type-text field-label-above"><div class="field-label">Speaker Last Name:&nbsp;</div><div class="field-items"><div class="field-item even">McNabb</div></div></div><div class="field field-name-field-jobtitle field-type-text field-label-above"><div class="field-label">Speaker Job Title:&nbsp;</div><div class="field-items"><div class="field-item even">General Manager, Dell Boomi</div></div></div><div class="field field-name-field-company field-type-text field-label-above"><div class="field-label">Speaker&#039;s Company Name/Affiliation:&nbsp;</div><div class="field-items"><div class="field-item even">Dell</div></div></div><div class="field field-name-field-bio field-type-text-long field-label-above"><div class="field-label">Speaker Bio:&nbsp;</div><div class="field-items"><div class="field-item even">Chris joined the Dell Boomi team in 2011 following a 12 year career with SunGard Higher Education.
