Mark Weiner has led marketing at a range of small to large technology companies over 20+ years, and currently leads cloud storage marketing at Microsoft following the acquisition of StorSimple, where he was Vice President of Marketing. Prior to joining StorSimple, Mark was Sr. VP of Marketing for cloud and network provider Virtela, where he led global marketing and product management, and at Cisco where he led marketing for multiple data center business units and $1B in revenue. Previously, Weiner was Vice President of Worldwide Marketing at NetScaler, a pioneer in application delivery acquired by Citrix Systems. Earlier in his career, Weiner spent several years in telecommunications, serving as Vice President of Marketing at Redback Networks. Mr. Weiner has an MBA with honors from Santa Clara University, where he is a part-time professor and advisory board member, and a Bachelors of Science from University of California, Berkeley.
