David also founded Sonicity, a secure multicasting company, and led development of the RealSecure intrusion detection system. He also founded the X-Force security research group while at Internet Security Systems. David is a leading security industry expert and speaks at numerous industry conferences and meetings including SANS and ISSA. He has published articles in trade publications such as The Data Center Journal and The ISSA Journal, and received the Shaping Info Security 2006 award. David is also respected security researcher and has been credited with the discovery of numerous security vulnerabilities.
